Corido listings are handled in person: you agree the price in the app, then meet the other party to inspect the item and pay. Corido does not hold the money — payment happens directly between buyer and seller at handover.
Agree in the app first. Use offers and messages so the price, the item and the meeting point are written down. Keep the conversation on Corido — if something goes wrong later, we can only see what happened here.
Meet somewhere public and busy. A mall, a fuel station forecourt or a bank entrance in daylight. Tell someone where you're going. For a high-value item, bring a friend.
Inspect before you pay. Power it on, open the box, check the serial, take it for a drive — whatever proves the item matches the listing. This is the step that replaces a refund: once you've paid and parted ways, the deal is done.
Pay at handover, not before. Cash or M-Pesa, once the item is in your hands and you're satisfied. Never send a deposit to hold an item, and never pay someone who wants to move the deal off Corido.
Sellers: check who you're meeting. Every Corido account is phone-verified, and sellers pass ID verification before they can list. You can see a buyer's profile before you agree to meet, and you can decline any meeting that feels wrong.
